A one-of-a-kind, handwoven artwork, with Japanese inspired techniques and my signature natural dyes. All the materials are natural and biodegradable.
Made from:
Sheep's wool, naturally dyed with red Madder root extract.
Undyed, natural linen.
Paper yarns, hand-painted black with a natural plant and iron dye.
Woven and designed by me, on a Harris table loom, with a three-dimensional waffle block pattern.
Inspired by the walled city of Valletta in Malta and the repeating red windows on narrow streets.
The artwork is sold unframed.
